The college has an active CSI chapter. All the students of CSE & IT are the members of CSI.

The Inauguration programme on "Computer Society of India- Student Chapter" was organized on 06.10.2010, The chief guest WG.CDR.M.Murugesan, Director Education, CSI, Chennai, in his keynote address encouraged and motivated the students to introduce innovation and make the society suitable to the modern technology and implement the same for the betterment of the society.
