The department of CSE was started in the academic year 2000 and it has grown excellently in academic and research work. The Department is well equipped with high end computers, latest software and state-of-the-art IT infrastructure .All the computing resources are inter-connected with high speed intranet connectivity to the outside world. Our students are exposed to up-to-date curriculum, technology and techniques. The Department has well experienced and dedicated faculty members with different specializations. The department library has well over 1000 books covering a wide range of subjects and several Journals. The Department has a proud record of research and has generated expertise in various areas.

The Department is well recognized for excellence in facilities and teaching. We offer B.E and M.E in Computer Science and Engineering. The aim of these programs is to enable students to acquire specialized knowledge for various subjects in Computer Science & Information Technology, as well as to enrich the students’ personal, social and cognitive development to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow. The B.E Computer Science and Engineering Department has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation, AICTE, New Delhi.

The Department has a modern laboratory to serve the teaching and research needs of the students and faculty of the Department. We have well equipped laboratories with state-of-the-art facilities like servers, workstations, thin clients, mobile terminals, desktops and networking devices.

The laboratory is equipped with latest software and hardware platforms. It support various programming languages, RDBMS, Operating Systems and Multimedia Software.

There is 8 Mbps leased line internet connectivity available and all the systems in the lab are networked.

Computer Science Associates of Pansophy (CSAP) aims to provide a forum to disseminate useful information and also allow students to actively participate in pertinent decisions thus ensuring a productive work environment. Student participation in departmental policies allows them to develop critical thinking and also leadership skills. The association provides academic exposure to students in the form of a Distinguished Lecture Series held every semester. Speakers excelling in the various areas of Computer Science are invited to present a talk on their research.

The training is a continuous and regular feature in the Department. The faculty members are updating their knowledge by regularly attending various conferences, training programmes and workshops.
In addition to regular curricular activities, the ORACLE, C# .NET, J2EE training programs are also provided to equip the students with varied skill sets required by the industry.

The CSE Department conducts various major activities like national conferences, seminars, student symposia, short-term training program and value added courses. This provides a wide range of opportunities for faculty and students to bring out their potential and innovative skills in a variety of fields. Some of our faculties have published international papers.
