Civil Engineering
The department of Civil Engineering was started in the year 2005. The department has
state-of-the-art facilities equipped with the latest instruments, equipments, and software
for imparting technical knowledge. Experienced and well-qualified faculty members,
well-equipped laboratories and workshops are the strength of this department.
Lab Facilities
The CIVIL association 'Revolution of Courageous Creators-RCC' focuses on updating
the technical knowledge of the students in the recent advancements of Science &
Technology. National Level Technical Symposium is being conducted every year. Guest lectures by resource persons from reputed institutions & industries are arranged.

In addition to regular curricular activities STAAD PRO, ANSYS training programs
are also provided to equip the students with varied skill sets required by the industry.
Ms.A.Anisaparveen,(2005-2009) batch has got university rank.
Mr.K.Vivek,(2006-2010) batch has got 36th university rank.
In June 2005, traffic census for Namakkal was taken by the students with the help
of staff and a report was submitted to the Ministry of Transport. The total cost
of the project is Rs. 1,85,000.
