Applications
Curriculum
The department of MCA was established in the year 2002. The outgone students since
2005 successfully completed their course and got placed in various companies. At
present, there are 185 students studying MCA course in our department for the academic
year (2009-10) with the guidance of dedicated and well-qualified faculty members.
Lab
The department has well-equipped computer lab with the latest processors (Pentium
IV, Core 2 Duo),operating systems (Windows XP, Linux), applications( MS- Office,
Tally, Macro Media Flash MX), compilers (C Complier, JDK 1.5, J2EE), software (C,
C++, Java, JDK 2.0, J2EE, Visual Studio, Oracle, C#, .NET, Rational Rose, Multimedia
Software), Printers, Scanners, Modems, Over Head Projector, LCD Projector with internet
facility .

Association
For the past four years the department had been organizing and conducting National level Technical
symposia and various competitions. Equally, it arranges for special
lectures by experts from industries and organizations.
Student Projects
The students are permitted to carry out Mini-Project/ project on the campus
and industry during the course of study. They are also permitted to carry out the
real time projects given by CSI-SPRINGBOARD, ChennaiCSI-SPRINGBOARD, Chennai
Major Achievements
The department achieved ZONE - FIRST in Anna University Examination during the year
2007.
Miss.C. Manohari secured 11th rank with 85% during 2003-2006 in Anna
University, Chennai.
10 Students secured University Rank during 2007-2010 in Anna
University, Coimbatore Zone.

Training and Continuing
Education
- Soft Skills Course is offered by HP for 50 Hours with a total of 200 students per semester
- J2EE & DOT NET courses
are handled by HP for 75 Hours with strength of 50 students.
- Students are motivated to do Certification exams on Sun Java, Oracle, .net and ERP.
Social Involvement
Village Adoption
A village was adopted in the nearby area in 2009 for improving and providing facilities like street lights and sanitation.
A lot of community development programmes
are being conducted.
